The Turkish Football Federation has signed a contract with Besiktas coach Chenul Gönç as new technical director of the first team.
The Union said in a statement on Thursday that it had signed an agreement with Gunche for four years and that the latter would take over from June.
The new coach will supervise the training of the team during the preparations for the European Nations Cup 2020 and the 2022 world.
It wished all the best for coach Goonesch in his career with Turkey.
Gondic won the Turkish league championship with Besiktas in the 2015-2016 season. The team is now in third place in the competition, the current edition of which ends in May, lagging behind PAKAK Shahir 11 points.
He also led the Turkish team to third place and won the bronze medal in the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan
