He noted that he did not raise tariffs on Chinese goods to 25 percent from 10 percent on March 1 as previously planned.

Trump announced last week that his country would delay the increase of tariffs on Chinese exports worth more than 200 billion dollars previously planned after achieving “significant progress” in trade negotiations between the two countries.
