Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz held talks with the Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi on Friday at the Carthage Palace in the Tunisian capital.
King Salman and President Essebsi witnessed the signing of the agreements by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ibrahim al-Assaf and Tunisia’s Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui.
President Essebsi also awarded King Salman the republic’s medal, the highest official honor.
For his part, King Salman presented President Essebsi with the King Abdul Aziz Medal.
Saudi King Salman arrived in the capital Tunis on Thursday on an official visit and will also head Saudi Arabia’s delegation to the Arab Summit due on Sunday.
