After the latest games in the top five European football leagues over the weekend, Liverpool, Barcelona, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are in the top positions in their respective leagues.
In the English Premier League, Liverpool beat Southampton 3-1 to remain at the top spot with four wins in a row. The runner-up Manchester City defeated Cardiff City 2-0 to win eight matches in a row. They are currently at second place with another game at hand.
The leader Liverpool reached 82 points followed by Manchester City with 80 points.
In the Spanish La Liga, leader Barcelona beat the runner-up Atletico Madrid 2-0 to remain stronger at top of the league while Real Madrid beat Eibar 2-1.
The leader Barcelona with 73 points were followed by Atletico Madrid with 62 points and Real Madrid with 60 points.
In Italy’s Serie A, leader Juventus edged out Milan 2-1. They are stronger at the top of the league with 84 points.
Juventus are just one point away to become champs this season.
Runner-up Napoli drew with Genoa 1-1 to reach 64 points, 20 points from the top spot.
In Germany’s Bundesliga, reigning champions Bayern Munich stun Borussia Dortmund 5-0 to regain the top spot.
The leader Bayern Munich have 64 points, followed by Borussia Dortmund with 63 points.
In France’s Ligue 1, leader PSG drew with Strasbourg 2-2. The runner-up Lille also drew with Reims 1-1.
PSG are very strong at the top of the league with 81 points, followed by Lille with 61 points, and Olympique Lyon with 56 points.
PSG are just one point away to become the champs this season and the sixth in the last seven years.
