2019 European Parliament Elections in the Shadow of Extreme Right and Brexit

In the elections held in the European Union (EU) countries in recent years, the far-right parties have won a significant number of votes, and have gained strong representation in the national parliaments. The anti-EU agenda of the far-right parties has also raised questions about the future of the Union. In the leading Western European countries such as Germany, Austria, the United Kingdom, Italy and France, the extreme right-wing parties gained momentum; There has been an increase in comments on how a structural transformation is taking place in world politics and how this transformation will affect the EU and its institutions. Due to the atmosphere in question, all eyes are translated into the European Parliament (EP) elections to be held between 23-26 May 2019. Both the trends in national elections in the EU countries and the projections and surveys on the EP elections show that the rise of the right-wing parties will continue in the EP elections.
