Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan predicted that the rate of inflation in Turkey would decline and return to 6-7 percent.
This came in a speech to a mass rally in the northeastern state of Riza Saturday as part of preparations for the upcoming local elections at the end of March.
“Inflation will fall again to about 6-7 percent, God willing, because it is not appropriate for us to inflation by 19-20 percent,” Erdogan said.
On the other hand, Erdogan pointed out that the new ship “Yawooz” will start drilling for oil in the Mediterranean soon, after the completion of the tests.
Erdogan explained that exploration is a matter of “division and share” as well as the technical dimension of the subject.
He expressed his confidence to receive good news soon from Turkish exploration vessels
